Everyone
enjoys the occasional sweet treat, and when you want something especially
delicious, where do you go? Creations by Karissa, of course!
Karissa is a
self-taught baker who started her business by baking for friends and family.
After she started getting a lot of compliments on how
unique and delicious her cakes tasted, she decided to take it to the next
level. She started with cupcakes and took the next step with cakes in 2008. Her
confidence built, and in 2011, decided to finally start an actual business. She
is based out of Kutztown, PA which is the perfect location whether you are in
the Lehigh Valley or Reading area.
She enjoys baking
cupcakes for bake sales and fundraisers, one of which was for the Lehigh Valley
Zoo for a penguin birthday. She also helps with school bake sales, and most
recently, a bake sale for the Kutztown High School Cheerleaders.
The favorite part of
Karissa's job is seeing the happy faces on her customers when they receive
